I was asked to do a little column in our little Douglas County newspaper. This blog contains all of my article submissions. I'm a little nervous about the idea. Hopefully I don't run out of ideas!

It has been more than a year since I updated this website. Lame! We've been busy! We have a new roof, winter's setting in again, and Adam was named "Real Sexy Guy" by GMC and People magazine. haha!

It is a busy time of year. I just finished a week of playing in an orchestra pit for our school district musical "The King and I." It was fun, but exhausting due to late nights and the usual EARLY early mornings.

On Saturday, Dec. 5th I will be singing in the Common Bond 5 Christmas concert! I'm pretty excited, but I get very nervous when I sing solos in front of a large crowd. After that, I play the clarinet in the Columbia Chorale Christmas concert. WHEW!

Adam has been teaching guitar lessons to his younger brother. I think he enjoys it! He practices almost every day. <sigh> Makes me look bad.
